Add your @st.lasu.edu.ng address from the verification page or your profile, and we’ll email a secure link to that address. Click it to confirm — that unlocks transactions and your verified student badge.
Yes. Every verified account can buy by default. To sell, just open a store — no separate account or role needed, and you keep buying as normal.
You can still register and browse listings. You’ll need a verified LASU email before you can buy, sell, or chat — request one from your faculty/ICT if you don’t have it yet.
Buying
Open a listing and tap the cart button, or use the cart icon on any listing card. You can’t add your own listings.
Yes. Your cart can hold items from different sellers, and checkout creates a separate order per seller automatically.
You can pay securely online via Paystack (card, bank transfer, USSD), or choose cash at the meetup.
Don’t mark the order as received. You can keep the order open, message the seller, and report them if they’re unresponsive — our team reviews reports.
Selling
Verify your LASU email, then click “Become a seller” to create a store. Once your store exists you can publish listings immediately.
No. You can create a store and list right away. Admin verification only adds a “verified store” badge — it doesn’t block you from selling.
Store verification is reviewed by admins. A verified store earns a badge that builds buyer trust; it’s separate from your verified LASU student badge.
Trust & safety
It shows a user has confirmed a genuine @st.lasu.edu.ng email — so you know you’re dealing with a real Lagos State University student.
Sellers and buyers agree a pre-defined campus zone (and time) in chat before meeting, keeping handovers in safe, public spots on campus.
Use the report option on a listing or profile. Reports go to admins who can review, suspend accounts, or remove listings.
